Diary Entry #2

After the celebration of Christmas, I get ready for New Year’s Eve. In the recent years, I always try to go to the club but either it is too expensive or our plans fall through because of some unforeseen force. The last past couple of years I’ve been just going to San Francisco and catching the fireworks. That’s always fun. Then I usually just watch all the drunk people walk down market yelling and screaming, causing a ruckus.

Diary Entry #1

Usually around Chrismas time I go around and see family and friends that I don't get to part take with much. I always look forward for my moms seafood gumbo. Personally, I feel the rich and soupy taste of my moms gumbo really bring that holiday feeling around. Then I go and hang out with a few of my friends that live in different cities. We play catch up, hit the mall, and other activities we enjoy together. I feel it's really a time to relax, have fun, and just be.

Interternship Readiness

I believe the qualities of someone who is internship ready are being dependable, hardworking, and has a willingness to learn. I plan on demonstrating these abilities every single day by being on time, not only completing the work, but also having it done to the highest degree it can be done. Also I will show my boss every single day that I want to be at that particular internship. I will make it my business to approach him every day and ask “what can I learn today that will make me an asset to this company?”

The change that I will make in this module would have to be attitude and the ability to take constructive criticism in a non-feedback environment.

The Good The Bad The Ugly: Jobs

I once had a job that made me continuously walk from house to house, in the blazing heat, and try and sell 1300 dollar vacuum cleaners. People used to slam   the door in my face all the time. I went out one day and this older white lady sacked her canine on one of my coworkers. The dog mauled her foot up. That was my last day at work. I once had another job at the Valero gas station and that was a cool job. I really got to get to know everybody in Fairfield. It was a cool experience because I was in high school and I was one of the only people who had a job at the time.

In this article that I have read the Penn State assistant coach is accused of sexually abusing   five minor boys three years ago. They are now investigating the minor’s stories and checking up with the coach to see if event actually took place.  The FBI is now investigating the situation to see if complaint is telling the truth. I think that the head coach should’ve told about the incident as soon as it happened. Now the head coach of over 60 years is now fired. That was not worth it. And, on top of that he held the record for the most wins in the game of football period. He also held the record for the most collegic wins in history.
